BLACK TUXEDO GOWN AND FAUX FUR

Hello Fashion Friends!! I purchased this edgy black tuxedo gown after seeing it on line at Forever21. When I saw it online, I knew I had to buy it. It reminded me of what Ashley Olsen wore to the 25th CFDA Fashion Awards in 2007. The Olsen twins are definitely one of my favorite fashionistas. I decided to pair my black tuxedo gown with my black faux fur vest. Winter is all about laying, and faux fur vests are definitely one of the pieces I like to use when laying. When I wear an all-black outfit, I like to rock it with some pop of color, and this time I chose my purse that I purchased from TJMAXX.

You're probably wondering where was I going all dolled up? Well, that is a great question. I wore this outfit to my friend’s engagement/birthday party and did not take photos of the outfit since the lighting wasn't that great indoors. I decided to wear it the following day, when a fellow fashion blogger by the name of Jenny I met via Instagram (she took the photos and the link to her blog is at the bottom) invited me to a photo-shoot this past Sunday morning. I thought to myself since I didn't get good photos from the event I attended why not rock the same outfit and have her take some pictures of me. That is exactly what I did and am glad since she did an amazing job. I was also glad to meet another fashion blogger from the DMV area that had the same love for fashion as I do.
