Hello Stylish Friends!! Hope the new year is treating you well so far. As for me, it’s been great. I am enjoying motherhood. My husband and I are loving being parents. It’s such an amazing experience and we are grateful to God for this blessing.

Now back to style, my friends. Today’s look was inspired by my husbands’s Timberland puffer coat. He barely wears it, so I thought to myself that coat would be a great prop for my shoot and you definitely will be seeing me rock it again. It’s so comfortable and warm. It’s perfect for the winter that we been experiencing in the DC, MD, and VA area lately. The shoot took place in Sterling, VA by my brother in law AJay. Check out his Instagram page @1924images. Enough about AJay lol. Let’s get to the outfit details. The grey turtle neck I purchased from Kohl’s about two years ago. The brand is call Cuddl Dubs, such a cute name don’t you think. The crop top from ASOS, American Eagle outfitters  joggers from TJmaxx. Let me tell you about these cuffed joggers and how soft and comfy they are. I’m all about comfort fashion now. Happy New Year loves. I been MIA, but now am back. I had some amazing life changing events occur in my life. I am a married woman, with a handsome son that I had last October. He is three months old and his the center of our universe. I am a first time mom and I am loving the experience so far. Like any new mom, things can get a bit overwhelming at times, but with the help of my supportive husband and family everything is going well so far. I am not going to lie, I miss sleep, sleep deprivation is so REAL as a mom. I can no longer get a complete eight hours of sleep. I use to be such a deep sleeper, but not anymore lol. With that being said, I wish you all a wonderful new year with tremendous blessings to you and your family.

Okay, okay, okay back to this BOMB outfit, So Satin So Nude. I wanted to do a monochrome look with the color nude. I purchased the satin jacket, the bodysuit, and satin pants from no other than Misguided (current favorite site). The shoes I had for several years. Of course, the shoes are from ASOS (another favorite site). The glasses are from TJMAxx.
