Hello Fashion Friends!! I'm a social butterfly and I love meeting new people. I had the opportunity to go to NYFW15 with Akinyi a Fashion Blogger (@Fitsonme) I met through Instagram. We also did a photo shoot together with photographer Carlton Hart (@Carltonhartimages). Carlton Hart is a friend of Akinyi and that is how the two of us got acquainted. Hello Stylish Friends!! Statement piece is an item that can either make or break your outfit. Some might like adding it to their outfits, while others do not like to. I am part of the group that like adding statement pieces to their outfits. I like using vintage items as my statement piece. In this shoot I used a Velour Blazer with gold crystal rhinestones as seen in the pictures below. I love this blazer. It is very detailed.

BURST OF COLORS

Hello Stylish Friends!! Wearing color especially on a gloomy day brightens my day up. I love to wear clothes that are vibrant and colorful. Today I am wearing ALOT of color as you can see from the pictures below. I purchased the multi color tribal print skirt from a vintage store couple of years ago. The blazer is from my favorite store Nordstrom. I am carrying a vintage bag which are items I love to collect. I call this outfit Burst of Colors. GOWN INSPIRED BY CARLTON

Hello Fashion Friends!! The outfit I am showcasing today was inspired by Carlton Hart, a wonderful photographer that took the amazing photos you are about to view. According to Carlton, "I wanted to prove that I can create a high fashion look on a small budget. Goal was to buy a couple pieces of fabric and create a long flowing gown that would past for an expensive dress/gown." Carlton purchased the fabric which we used as a wrap, which appears as a gown/dress from Joann's Fabric Store. The black and white fabric piece consist of two yards. The leather fabric was used as a belt to hold the black top and the black and white fabric together. This creative inspirational idea was executed beautifully by stylist Akinyi who is also a blogger follow her blog and IG @fitsonme. Carlton states, "this inspiration is for those out there that are working with a very little budget."
