Hello Fashion Friends!! The outfit I am showcasing today was inspired by Carlton Hart, a wonderful photographer that took the amazing photos you are about to view. According to Carlton, "I wanted to prove that I can create a high fashion look on a small budget. Goal was to buy a couple pieces of fabric and create a long flowing gown that would past for an expensive dress/gown." Carlton purchased the fabric which we used as a wrap, which appears as a gown/dress from Joann's Fabric Store. The black and white fabric piece consist of two yards. The leather fabric was used as a belt to hold the black top and the black and white fabric together. This creative inspirational idea was executed beautifully by stylist Akinyi who is also a blogger follow her blog and IG @fitsonme. Carlton states, "this inspiration is for those out there that are working with a very little budget."
